My site, and welcome to it! Yep, somehow you've managed to stumble upon my own little corner of the Web, so just sit tight while I tell you some basic crap about myself: As you've probably figured out by now, my name is Morten B. Helland. I'm originally from Bergen, Norway, but live now in Oslo, Norway. My birthday is December 10, 1963, in case you wanna send me flowers. Oh yeah, plus I'm male, straight, single, with no kids. But who am I really? Well, I'm still trying to figure that out. But I do play guitar, sing and write songs and lyrics (of which some of those lyrics can be found in the Song Lyrics Section), and I also draw and write comic strips (which are now in the Comic Strip Section). I'm also into webdesign. Artistic expression is indeed an important part of my life, and hopefully someday I'll be able to make a living out of it. (Wipe that smirk off your face!) Anyways, I guess I'm a pretty nice guy though, with maybe a twisted sense of humor sometimes. I'm sorta people oriented, sometimes outgoing, sometimes not. According to the official MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) test and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter (psychological stuff here, folks), I'm an INFJ. (Another INFJ explanation here and here.) So who spawned this guy? No, the devil had nothing to do with it (I think). My mom, Berny, and my dad, Finn, put me into this stinking world and raised me. (Whether they did a good job or not is a case-study too long to get into here.) Growing up I found myself sharing space with my two older sisters (who also sorta raised me, I guess), Marianne and Bibbi. They both reside in Bergen with their "soulmates" Sigbjoern and Ivar, respectively, and their loooovely kids (I have to use this term of course, or my sisters will kill me!) Marte and Petter, and Michael, Kathinka, Aurora and Veronika, respectively. Bibbi's family's also got a husky named Tasha, as well as two bunnies. (No, not the Playboy kind.) (TOC)

Blackboard hell Yes, I have been going to school and getting shaped by the ugly hands of society. A quick mention: Paradis barneskole (kid school - 1970-76), Storetveit ungdomsskole (sorta like junior high - 1976-79), Fana gymnas (sorta like high school - 1979-82) and last but definitively not least, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) in the US of A (1984-89) (in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, of course).
